H.E. Ambassador María Belén Bogado
H.E. María Belén Bogado is a career diplomat. She has served as Director General for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Argentina, an area responsible for Argentina’s technical cooperation at both the bilateral and multilateral levels.
She also held the presidency of the Intergovernmental Council of the Ibero-American Program for the Strengthening of South-South Cooperation (PIFCSS).
From 2016 to 2019, she served as Deputy Director of the National Directorate for Multilateral Economic Relations.
Abroad, she was posted to the Argentine Embassy to the Spain from 2006 to 2015, serving as Head of Chancellery from 2011 onward. She began her diplomatic career in 2003 at the Directorate of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship.
She holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the National University of Rosario.
She is married and has two children with her spouse, Mariela Ghiggi.
