I am a NZ Citizen, do I need a visa for tourism purposes?
No. New Zealand citizens do not need a tourist visa to enter Argentina. They may stay for up to 90 days with a valid passport with an expiration date of not less than 6 months.
I want to visit Argentina for tourism purposes but am not a NZ Citizen. Do I need a tourist visa?
It depends on the citizenship of the application. Please refer to the Tourist Visa Section for the complete list of visa free countries. Please be advised that for those countries not on this list, tourist visas are issued between 5 and 25 working days from the date of arrival, so we recommend that you apply with plenty of time before the date of departure.
I am travelling as a tourist which includes a stopover in Argentina. Do I need a transit visa?
If you are staying at an Argentine Airport for less than twelve hours, you do not need to apply for a transit visa. If you are staying for a longer period of time, please refer to the Visa Section.
 
Is it necessary to obtain travel authorisation for a minor that is travelling to Argentina?
A parent’s travel authorization IS NOT NECESSARY to leave Argentina for permanent or temporary residents if:
 -The person is 18 years old and over;
-The person has reached legal age in his birth country;
-The person is emancipated;
-His/her address is overseas which should be confirmed by showing an ID card or any other document where this address is shown. 
No parent’s travel authorization is needed to leave Argentina if the person holds a transitory residency (tourists).
A parent’s travel authorization IS NOT NECESSARY to enter the country if the person is 15 or over 15 years old from any nationality and is not travelling with his/her parents.

Do I need any vaccination certificates to enter Argentina?
No vaccination certificates are required. .
Does my passport need to have a minimum term of validity to enter Argentina?
In order to enter Argentina you must have a valid passport. However, since most of the flights to Argentina have a stop over in other countries, the airlines requires that the passport have a minimum term of six months validity remaining. Therefore, we suggest to contact the airline before traveling to Argentina in order to avoid problems in relation to the term of validity of your passport.
